Since thebusticket.com is only the distributor and reseller of products and services provided by other parties (Suppliers), we are also collecting your Data on behalf of those Suppliers. For example, these Suppliers will need each traveler's name and voter ID number for identification purposes and to verify that each ticket is being used in accordance with that Supplier's terms and conditions. Our collection of and disclosure to our Suppliers of your Data is a required part of your transaction, and you agree by engaging in such transactions on the website to such collection and disclosure. Apart from guest purchases, we will also collect personally identifiable information when you choose to participate in promotions, fill out surveys, complete polls, or send questions or comments to us via email. Thebusticket.com is a reseller of our Suppliers' products and services. As a requirement for traveling, these Suppliers must have access to the names of each traveler for whom a ticket is purchased, for that Supplier's product or service. We do not provide this information to our Suppliers for their direct marketing purposes, and to the best of our knowledge and belief, our Suppliers do not use the personal information we provide to them for reasons other than completing your travel-related transaction. If you enter our Site from the site of one of our marketing or referral partners, our system may recognize the path you have taken. Once you have left a partner's site and/or begin the purchase transaction on our Site, those partners do not have access to the personal information you provide. Such information is treated as Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We also may track the path you have taken, combined with what purchases you may make, to gauge the success of our online marketing and promotional campaigns. Once you leave our website, use of any information you provide will be governed by the privacy policy of that site's operator. A. Currently, you will be able to buy bus tickets.

A. Through thebusticket.com, you will be able to:

  • • Choose your preferable destination & departure points online

  • • Get your tickets directly in your mobile SMS & E-mail box (e-mail address)

  • • Book your bus tickets online in your city

  • • Choose from a large number of bus/launch operators

  • • Choose your desired seats (e.g. window seat, female seats etc.)

  • • Choose your transport based on several criteria (like: boarding points, timing, transport type e.g. AC/ Non-AC)

  • • Get your tickets directly in your E-mailbox (e-mail address)

  • • Cancel your ticket and get refund

A. The price of the tickets is exactly what you would get from the bus/launch counters. However, we do charge a nominal convenience fee to cover the cost of our service offerings.

A. The passenger requires showing the e-Ticket (SMS/E-mail/Print Copy) to the bus/launch counter. The counterman will ask you to give a call in his number. Then he will verify the mobile number of yours with the number that has been provided during the purchase of ticket. This verification process is called MSISDN.

A. No questions asked. Passenger's mobile number verification (checking the mobile number) is the only thing that is required.

A. No, you cannot transfer your ticket to your friend or anyone else. A unique ticket is always issued with the real passenger's mobile number.

A. Transferring tickets is not possible from thebusticket.com website. If anyone wants to buy a ticket for others need to use actual passenger's mobile number. However, if transfer is requested, it has to be requested from the designated mobile number by calling the customer care number 09614 11 33 44

Ticketing

A. Thebusticket.com gives e-tickets in a form of SMS and E-mail and SMS ticket is sufficient to get on-board your chosen bus or launch services. However, necessity of printed copy of tickets depends on bus or launch service operators. From thebusticket.com you can take the print out of your ticket any time you desire.

A. A copy of the ticket would have been sent to you by e-mail when you purchased it. Please take a printout of that E-mail and show it at the time of boarding. If you have not received the ticket via e-mail, you can regenerate your ticket online. Help line: the customer care centre 09614 11 33 44

A. The customer can request for a re-issue of PNR by calling the customer care centre 09614 11 33 44 If the customer had entered the E-mail address, then the PNR will be sent to the E-mail as well.

Booking

A. For operators, who do not support mTickets, printing out the e-ticket (which is sent to your E-mail address) is a must. At the time of boarding, just show the printed ticket and you will be allowed to travel.

A. First, do check your E-mail for the ticket that has been sent in you E-mail address (please check your spam folder as well). You can generate your mTicket online. Click on the 'Print Ticket' link on thebusticket.com homepage. Enter your ticket number and PIN number mentioned in the e-ticket and choose the options as you desire. Options are:

  • 1. View Ticket

  • 2. Get mTicket on SMS

  • 3. Get eTicket by E-mail.

  • 4. Download as PDF

After selecting the option, click on Submit.

A. In case you do not even have a copy of the e-ticket, contact the customer care center 09614 11 33 44 and our executive will assist you.

A. Sure you can change the number. For changing the number please call customer care center 09614 11 33 44 and our executive will send you the SMS on your desired number.

A. For payment system it is not necessary for you to have a card. You can pay the money from any cards. However the passenger need sufficient prove of the ticket (SMS/E-mail/ Print Out)

A. Once the payment is confirmed. You will receive a SMS confirmation on your mobile and will get an e-ticket on E-mail address.

A. You can purchase maximum 4 tickets in a single transaction.

A. For changing the tickets, new tickets to be booked and if the user wishes the old one needs to be cancelled. (Convenience fees of total ticket amount at the time of cancellation and new booking)

Payment

A. You can make payment and purchase tickets for anyone. Please use the passenger's mobile number for purchasing the ticket.

A. You can make payment using

  • 1. Credit/Debit card.

  • 2. bKash/DBBL/myCash.

  • 3. Pay cash to Robi Sheba (Walk-in-center).

If paying in Robi Walk-in-center is selected, you would have to pay the cash upfront in WIC in order to receive the ticket.

A. Transactions on thebusticket.com will appear as ssl wireless in your bank statement.

A. Transactions on thebusticket.com are very safe. We actually redirect you to the bank site for payment through debit/credit cards. Hence, there is no chance of security breach.

Cancellation

A. You need to click on the cancellation link provided on our home page. Enter your ticket number and the PIN number that was provided at the time of booking and click on cancel ticket

A. We will refund you the complete ticket amount but will keep the convenience fee charged while you purchased the ticket on the portal. ?

Cancellation policy may vary depending on bus operation & cancellation time

Refund Related

A. Thebusticket.com provides a 100 percent refund if the bus is missed due to any fault at us or at the partner company's end. However, if the bus is missed due to any other reason not directly related to Thebusticket.com, no refund is provided.

A. The refund is provided as per the cancellation policy. It takes 24-48 hours in getting the refund from the time of cancellation to the account by using which ticket was purchased..

A. The whole amount of the ticket will be refunded except for the convenience fee charged while you purchased the ticket on the portal.
